Bay Gallery Home Ruth velvets are translations of Australian Aboriginal Artwork from our collection of authentic Australian Aboriginal Artworks recounting the Aboriginal Dreamtime.

The Dreamtime encompasses the 40,000-60,000 year old Aboriginal creation myths which serve as a moral and practical framework for the Aboriginal communities, as they are guided through childhood into initiated elders.

Our Ruth Red, Ruth Blue and Ruth Pink patterns differ slightly as the designs come from original Goanna Dreaming artworks by Ruth Nungarrayi Spencer.

All our fabrics are manufactured in and distributed from the UK.

Funds from each sale goes back to the artists helping support their communities by way of keeping the connection with their country.
