Joycie Yellow Velvet Cushions
Our fabrics are translations of Australian Aboriginal Artwork.
Bay Gallery Home’s My Country cushion collection is an innovative translation of original Australian Aboriginal paintings depicting the Australian outback, the bush medicine and bush tucker.
The JOYCIE YELLOW fabric represents Joycies’ traditional country “Out Rum Jungle” way. She was forced off her country due to the environmental impacts of uranium mining. This design represents happier times as she remembers the land from which she came.
JOYCIE YELLOW wallpaper is also available. The design can be translated onto other fabric bases as a bespoke order and can be ordered by the metre.
All our fabrics are manufactured in and distributed from the UK.
Please see Additional Information for fabric specifications. Bay Gallery Home also offers a cushion making service.
Funds from each sale goes back to the artists helping support their communities by way of keeping the connection with their country.
Original artwork is by Joycie Pitjara Morton.
