Beto Ruiz Alonso is a fine artist and photographer born in Mexicali, Mexico. In 2013, he chose Berlin as his base, drawn to the city’s vibrant and cutting-edge art scene. For over a decade, he has been producing fashion and portrait photography, collaborating with local artists, and consistently exhibiting his work. With years of experience in photography, he began his career as a photojournalist from 2000 to 2004, backpacking through 17 countries in Central and South America to document humanitarian work. A true nomad, he has lived in various countries, actively engaging with local art scenes. In Brazil, he exhibited his work across multiple cities and gave talks at art schools and universities. His art photography has been showcased in Argentina, Mexico, and New York, and he studied Contemporary Art under Claudio Roncoli in Buenos Aires. Beto has also been selected three times to participate in the exclusive, invite-only retreat Phoot Camp, attended by top creatives, artists, and photographers from America and Europe. His work has been featured in Vogue Mexico, Vogue Latin America, The New York Times, and several international publications in the US and Germany.
