Sonya is a renowned artist of Ampilatwatja. She enjoys painting but her priority is her children. She paints when time permits, making her paintings hard to come by.

Sonya’s style is easily recognised through her use of vibrant palette choices of red, yellow, purple and orange and stylised trees and anthills. Her artworks have been exhibited both in Australia and internationally.
